Portugal Holiday Destinations and Ennis Property Management are owned and run by two generations of the Ennis family who moved to Portugal's Silver Coast in 1989. Soon after they founded a much-needed property management business and, at the request of their clients, developed a top-of-the-range villa rental company with the acquisition of Portugal Holiday Destinations.

Two husband and wife teams now run the businesses – Richard and his Portuguese wife Kátia, supported by Kevin and Toni. Additional permanent staff are João, António, Ana and Colaço.
